Qualification
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
· Preferred ISO Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor certification.
· Higg FEM, SLCP, Sedex/SMETA training or practical experience is desirable.
· Above 6 years of experience in Management Systems, Compliance, or Sustainability.
Job Purpose
To establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the organization’s Integrated Management System (IMS) and sustainability/compliance programs in accordance with ISO standards, Higg, SLCP, Sedex, customer requirements, and applicable legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities1. Integrated Management System (IMS)
· Implement, maintain, and improve the Integrated Management System.
· Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
· Develop, review, and control policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and records.
· Maintain document control and ensure revision status is up to date.
2. ISO Management
· Coordinate ISO implementation across all departments.
· Plan and conduct internal audits.
· Coordinate certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
· Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) until effective closure.
· Prepare Management Review Meeting (MRM) reports and monitor action plans.
3. Higg FEM (Facility Environmental Module)
· Coordinate Higg FEM self-assessment and verification activities.
· Collect and validate environmental performance data.
· Monitor energy, water, fuel, wastewater, emissions, and waste management performance.
· Track environmental improvement initiatives and sustainability targets.
· Maintain supporting documents required for Higg verification.
4. Higg FSLM / Social Compliance
· Coordinate labor, health & safety, and social compliance requirements.
· Ensure compliance with working hours, wages, employee welfare, and legal requirements.
· Support customer social compliance assessments.
· Maintain records related to employee welfare and statutory compliance.
5. SLCP (Social & Labor Convergence Program)
· Coordinate completion of the Converged Assessment Framework (CAF).
· Collect and maintain supporting documents required for SLCP verification.
· Coordinate verifier visits and ensure timely completion of assessments.
· Monitor corrective action plans arising from SLCP assessments.
6. Sedex / SMETA
· Coordinate Sedex registration and data management.
· Prepare for SMETA 2-Pillar or 4-Pillar audits.
· Ensure compliance with:
o Labour Standards
o Health & Safety
o Environment
o Business Ethics
· Maintain audit records and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
7. Internal & External Audits
· Prepare annual audit schedules.
· Conduct internal system audits.
· Coordinate customer, certification, regulatory, and third-party audits.
· Monitor audit findings and ensure timely closure.
8. Documentation & Record Control
· Maintain master lists for documents and records.
· Ensure document distribution and revision control.
· Archive records according to retention requirements.
· Maintain audit reports, permits, licenses, and statutory records.
9. Risk Management & Compliance
· Maintain risk and opportunity registers.
· Monitor legal and regulatory compliance.
· Conduct compliance evaluations and report findings.
· Support emergency preparedness and business continuity activities.
10. Training & Awareness
· Conduct induction and awareness training on ISO, Higg, SLCP, Sedex, environmental management, and occupational health & safety.
· Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and competency matrices.
11. Sustainability & ESG
· Monitor environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance indicators.
· Support carbon footprint, waste reduction, recycling, water conservation, and energy-saving initiatives.
· Coordinate sustainability reporting as required by customers.
12. Continuous Improvement
· Facilitate Kaizen, 5S, Lean, and process improvement initiatives.
· Analyze trends from audits, incidents, and customer feedback.
· Recommend improvement projects and monitor implementation.
