About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Python Developer Intern to join our engineering team. This is an entry-level position ideal for students, fresh graduates, or self-taught programmers looking to gain hands-on industry experience.
You will work alongside experienced developers, contribute to real-world projects, write clean code, and learn modern software development practices in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Assist in developing, testing, and debugging applications and backend APIs.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze project requirements and brainstorm technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to receive constructive feedback and improve coding standards.
- Maintain basic technical documentation for developed tools and code modules.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Familiarity with basic Git workflows (commit, push, pull, branching).
- Familiarity with basic database concepts (SQL or NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical coding experience/bootcamp.
Nice-to-Have (Optional)
- Basic familiarity with web frameworks like Flask or Django.
- Exposure to web scraping libraries (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium) or automation scripts.
- Understanding of basic RESTful API principles.
- Familiarity with Linux environments or basic command-line usage.
