Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Manager – Operations for our Diagnostic Centre. The candidate will be responsible for smooth day-to-day operations, patient coordination, appointment management, inventory handling, and ensuring quality patient service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor patient appointments and scheduling
Coordinate with referring consultants/doctors regarding patient updates and reports
Ensure patient history and required details are properly recorded
Monitor reception activities and verify patient entry records
Ensure diagnostic tests are conducted on time without delays
Coordinate with technicians, reception staff, and doctors for smooth workflow
Maintain daily operational records and reports
Handle inventory management for medical and office supplies
Ensure proper patient handling and excellent customer service
Resolve operational issues and maintain service quality standards
Follow up on pending reports, appointments, and patient queries
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Administration, or related field
2–5 years of experience in diagnostic centre/hospital operations preferred
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong knowledge of patient handling and operational management
Basic computer knowledge (Excel, MIS, appointment software, etc.)
Ability to manage staff and multitask efficiently
