Job Summary:
We are looking for a professional with experience in Import Customer Service. The role involves end-to-end shipment coordination, coordinating with customers, overseas agents, and shipping lines, monitoring shipment milestones, providing timely shipment updates, verifying vendor invoices, and coordinating billing activities while ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customers regarding cargo readiness and pickup schedules.
- Liaise with overseas agents and shipping lines for vessel schedules and booking confirmations.
- Monitor and coordinate import shipments from origin to final delivery.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status and documentation.
- Resolve customer queries, shipment delays, and operational issues promptly.
- Verify vendor debit notes and invoices against approved buy quotes.
- Update shipment details, milestones, and documents in customer portals.
- Check sell quotes and provide billing instructions to the Accounts team.
- Review and finalize customer invoices within the required timeline.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs and import regulations.

Required Qualifications:
- Graduation is a must.
- Experience in Freight forwarding Industry only.
- Strong knowledge of Indian import freight forwarding operations.
- Hands-on experience in FCL import shipments.
- Good understanding of INCOTERMS.
- Experience working with shipping lines and overseas agents.
- Strong coordination and rapport with overseas agents and shipping lines.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
