Summary:
As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud-based and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes building and testing these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. You will also deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of the proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align on architecture and deployment strategies is a key part of the daily workflow, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient within the cloud ecosystem.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud infrastructure with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AIX System Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Solaris.
- Strong expertise in managing and maintaining UNIX-based operating systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
- Experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability and security compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline system administration tasks and improve operational efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in AIX System Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
