Job Purpose:
To ensure a safe working environment by implementing safety procedures, monitoring compliance, conducting inspections, and preventing workplace accidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections of plant, machinery, electrical systems and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Fire Safety, EHS and statutory safety requirements.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety training and emergency drills for employees and workers.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain PPE records.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
- Monitor fire-fighting equipment, emergency exits, first-aid facilities and safety signage.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with HR, Production, Maintenance and other departments on safety matters.
- BE an integral part of internal and external safety, Buyer and statutory audits.
Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Safety / Industrial Safety or relevant qualification, with experience in manufacturing/food processing preferred.
Key Skills: Hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency management, safety training, documentation and communication.
Similar Field experience shall be preffered first.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
