Job Description – UPSC CSAT Faculty
A UPSC CSAT Faculty is responsible for training and mentoring Civil Services aspirants for the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) paper of the UPSC Preliminary Examination. The faculty member must deliver conceptual clarity, problem-solving techniques, and exam-oriented strategies in areas such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Decision Making, and Reading Comprehension.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach UPSC CSAT subjects including:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Logical Reasoning
- Analytical Ability
- Data Interpretation
- Decision Making
- Reading Comprehension
- Prepare lesson plans, notes, assignments, and mock tests.
- Conduct classroom and online sessions effectively.
- Guide students with shortcut techniques and time-management strategies.
- Analyze previous year UPSC CSAT papers and exam trends.
- Evaluate student performance through regular tests and doubt sessions.
- Mentor aspirants individually for improvement and exam preparation.
- Stay updated with UPSC syllabus changes and examination patterns.
- Develop study materials and practice worksheets for students.
Required Skills
- Strong command over UPSC CSAT syllabus and exam pattern.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex aptitude and reasoning concepts.
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Good classroom management and student handling skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Experience in competitive exam coaching preferred.
Qualification
- Graduation/Post Graduation in Mathematics, Engineering, Management, or relevant field.
- Prior experience in teaching UPSC CSAT/SSC/Banking/CAT aptitude preferred.
- Candidates who have appeared for UPSC CSE or other aptitude-based exams will be preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in competitive exam coaching preferred.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per hour
