We are looking for an experienced ERPNext Developer to design, customize, implement, and support ERPNext solutions for our customers. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with the Frappe Framework, Python, JavaScript, ERPNext modules, integrations, and deployment.
The developer will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, project managers, and customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ERPNext solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
- Configure and customize ERPNext modules such as:
- Accounting and Finance
- Sales and CRM
- Purchase and Procurement
- Inventory and Warehouse
- Manufacturing
- HR and Payroll
- Projects and Service Management
- Create custom DocTypes, workflows, reports, dashboards, print formats, scripts, and approval processes.
- Develop client scripts, server scripts, background jobs, scheduled tasks, and custom applications.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with third-party applications, payment gateways, logistics platforms, banking systems, and external ERPs.
- Perform data migration from Excel, legacy systems, and other ERP platforms.
- Troubleshoot application, performance, deployment, and integration issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment instructions, release notes, and user guides.
- Follow Git-based development, code review, testing, and release-management processes.
- Support ERPNext upgrades, patches, backups, restoration, and version migrations.
- Work with functional teams during UAT and resolve reported defects.
- Ensure that customizations follow ERPNext and Frappe development best practices.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with ERPNext and Frappe Framework.
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Jinja templates, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with MariaDB/MySQL.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and third-party system integrations.
- Experience developing:
- Custom Frappe applications
- DocTypes
- Client and server scripts
- Query and script reports
- Print formats
- Workflows and notifications
- Background and scheduled jobs
- Working knowledge of Git and version-control workflows.
- Experience with Linux-based ERPNext deployments.
- Understanding of Bench CLI, Redis, Nginx, Supervisor, Gunicorn, and production deployment.
- Ability to debug ERPNext and Frappe applications using logs, browser tools, and server-side diagnostics.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERPNext version 14, 15, or later.
- Experience implementing ERPNext for manufacturing, logistics, trading, services, or distribution companies.
- Knowledge of accounting, taxation, inventory, procurement, manufacturing, and payroll processes.
- Experience with Docker, AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
- Experience integrating ERPNext with Tally, e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, GST systems, banking APIs, or logistics applications.
- Familiarity with multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-location ERP implementations.
- Experience managing ERPNext performance, security, backups, and disaster recovery.
Functional Understanding
The candidate should have a basic understanding of business processes, including:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant ERPNext or Frappe development experience.
- Demonstrable experience delivering at least one complete ERPNext implementation or major customization project.
