Job Summary
The MIS Executive is responsible for managing hospital data, preparing reports, maintaining records, and supporting management with accurate information for decision-making. The role involves handling daily MIS reports, patient data, billing records, staff data, and coordination with different departments to ensure smooth hospital operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Management
- Maintain and update hospital databases and records.
- Collect data from departments such as OPD, IPD, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Accounts, and HR.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of hospital information.
MIS Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Generate patient census reports, revenue reports, billing reports, and departmental performance reports.
- Submit reports to management within timelines.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain digital and physical records properly.
- Prepare Excel sheets, dashboards, and summaries.
- Keep backup of important hospital data.
Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, accounts, reception, and administration departments for data collection.
- Support management during audits and inspections.
Software Handling
- Operate Hospital Management System (HMS).
- Manage data entry and report extraction from software.
- Handle MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication.
Data Analysis
- Analyze hospital operational data.
- Identify trends and prepare summaries for management review.
- Assist in improving reporting systems and workflows.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas, Charts).
- Knowledge of Hospital Management Software.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of hospital operations and billing processes.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Computer Applications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Computer Applications or MIS preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years experience in MIS/Data Management preferred.
- Experience in hospital or healthcare sector will be an advantage.
Salary
- As per experience and hospital policy.
Working Hours
- Full-time
- Rotational shifts if required.

- Good typing speed and computer proficiency.
Pay: ₹11,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
