We are Ginteja Insurance Brokers Private Limited (Promoted by Shyam Steel Industries and Sastasundar). Looking for Assistant Manager HR with strong knowledge of Statutory compliance and Payroll
Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Management
- End-to-end monthly payroll processing with 100% accuracy.
- Salary structuring, revisions, arrears, incentives, full & final settlement.
- End to End Statutory Compliance - PF, ESIC, PT, Shops & Establishment, Bonus, Minimum wages, Equal Remuneration, maternity etc.
- TDS computation, Form 16 generation, investment proof verification.
- Coordination with finance team for salary disbursement.
- Handling payroll queries and reconciliations.
2. Statutory Compliance
- EPF (ECR filing, arrear & supplementary challans)
- ESIC
- Professional Tax
- Labour Welfare Fund
- Gratuity
- Shops & Establishment Act
- POSH compliance
- Timely filing of statutory returns and challans.
- Liaison with government authorities, consultants, and auditors.
- Maintaining statutory registers and documentation.
- Preparing compliance MIS and audit reports.
3. HR Generalist Activities
- Employee lifecycle management (Joining to Exit).
- Offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters.
- Attendance management & leave tracking.
- Handling employee grievances.
- Performance appraisal coordination.
- HR policy implementation and updates.
4. Audit & Governance
- Coordinating internal and statutory audits.
- Preparing HR compliance documentation for audits.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll and employee data.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Labour Laws & Statutory Compliance.
- Hands-on experience in payroll software.
- Good understanding of Income Tax (salary structuring & TDS).
- Excellent Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, MIS reporting).
- High accuracy & attention to detail.
- Strong coordination & communication skills.
Qualification & Experience
- MBA, PGDM in HR, MHRM or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Generalist role with payroll & compliance focus.
- Experience in Financial Services, Insurance sector preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
