Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Unit Manager to manage end-to-end Distribution Centre operations, ensuring productivity, cost efficiency, service quality, inventory accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end DC/warehouse operations including inbound, storage, inventory and outbound activities.
· Drive productivity, operational efficiency and achievement of defined KPIs and SLAs.
· Plan manpower, resources and daily/weekly/monthly operations based on business volumes.
· Control operating and variable costs, including repair and maintenance expenses.
· Ensure inventory accuracy, effective capacity utilization and minimum losses due to expired, damaged, rejected or obsolete stock.
· Ensure FEFO adherence and proper handling of EDRO inventory.
· Coordinate with Logistics, Finance, HR, Procurement, Sales and other support functions.
· Ensure compliance with FSSAI, statutory, safety, quality and company requirements.
· Drive process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives within the DC.
· Monitor customer service levels, conduct periodic reviews and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
· Lead, coach and develop the team, manage performance and control employee attrition.
· Ensure readiness for internal and customer audits with zero major deviations.
· Maintain high standards of housekeeping, security, sanitation and workplace safety.
Candidate Profile
· Graduate in any discipline; Engineering / Operations / Supply Chain qualification preferred.
· 7–10 years of relevant experience in warehouse/DC operations, preferably in FMCG or Pharma.
· Strong knowledge of ERP/WMS systems.
· Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
· Customer-focused, detail-oriented and self-driven.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
