We are in the process of hiring Screen Printing Operator
Immediate Joiner Preferred.
- Operate and monitor screen printing machines used for printing on smart cards as per production requirements.
- Set up the screen, stencil, ink, squeegee, and printing parameters according to the approved job specification.
- Verify artwork, card type, colour, print position, and print orientation before starting production.
- Ensure accurate printing of text, logos, symbols, numbers, and other required elements on the cards.
- Maintain print quality, alignment, colour consistency, registration, and ink coverage throughout the production process.
- Perform first-piece inspection and obtain required approval before proceeding with bulk production.
- Conduct regular in-process quality checks and immediately report any defects or abnormalities.
- Identify and segregate defective cards such as misalignment, smudging, incomplete printing, colour variation, scratches, and poor ink adhesion.
- Maintain proper production records, inspection reports, rejection details, and traceability documents.
- Handle inks, solvents, screens, and other consumables safely and ensure proper storage and usage.
- Clean and maintain the screen, squeegee, printing machine, and work area after completion of the job.
- Follow approved SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and EHS requirements.
- Ensure proper 5S and housekeeping in the printing area.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to resolve process or quality issues.
- Minimize material wastage, rework, and rejection by maintaining stable printing parameters.
- Report machine problems, abnormal printing conditions, or recurring quality issues to the supervisor/maintenance team.
- Ensure proper shift handover and communicate pending jobs, machine conditions, and quality concerns to the next shift.
- Follow all company requirements related to confidentiality and security of smart-card materials and customer data, where applicable.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Printing preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in screen printing, card printing, label printing, or similar manufacturing operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
