The HR Executive is responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day human resource operations, including recruitment, employee onboarding, attendance and leave management, payroll support, employee engagement, statutory compliance, performance management, and HR administration. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while ensuring a positive employee experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Source, screen, and schedule interviews for open positions.
- Coordinate with department heads throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Conduct employee onboarding and orientation sessions.
- Ensure all joining formalities and documentation are completed.
HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Manage employee attendance, leave, and shift records.
- Support payroll processing by providing accurate attendance and leave data.
- Issue HR letters, including confirmation, experience, relieving, salary certificates, and other employment-related documents.
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure documentation compliance.
Employee Relations
- Act as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
- Assist in resolving employee grievances and workplace concerns.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
Performance Management
- Coordinate probation reviews and confirmations.
- Track Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and appraisal cycles.
- Assist managers in maintaining employee performance records.
- Prepare performance-related reports and documentation.
Compliance & Policy
- Ensure adherence to company policies and HR procedures.
- Assist with statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, labour laws, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Support HR audits and compliance documentation.
Training & Development
- Coordinate employee training and development programmes.
- Maintain training records and monitor completion status.
- Support learning and development initiatives.
HR Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain recruitment, attrition, attendance, leave, and manpower dashboards.
- Generate HR metrics for management review.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee ID cards, access cards, and other onboarding requirements.
- Assist with exit formalities, full and final settlement coordination, and exit interviews.
- Support HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform any other HR-related responsibilities assigned by the management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA HR preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of recruitment, HR operations, payroll support, and labour laws.
- Experience using HRMS and recruitment platforms is preferred.
