Primary Responsibilities:

Azure Data Engineering & Reporting - Lead role
-
Design, build, and support data platforms on Microsoft Azure using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), ADLS Gen2, and Azure SQL

Implement and maintain Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers, with a strong focus on data quality, reliability, and performance
-
Develop reusable data engineering components and frameworks using Python and PySpark
-
Own and improve existing data pipelines, including performance tuning, scalability, and operational stability
-
Review designs and code, and guide teams on data engineering best practices

Data Governance, Security & Compliance
-
Implement and operate Unity Catalog for access control, lineage, and data governance
-
Ensure data security and compliance standards are followed across dev, test, and production environments
-
Work closely with cloud, security, and platform teams to align with enterprise Azure standards
-
Help define and enforce clear patterns for data access, role-based security, and auditing
-
Power BI & Reporting
-
Design and manage semantic models and datasets used by Power BI reports
-
Build and support Power BI dashboards with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
-
Write and optimize DAX and data models for large datasets
-
Manage refresh strategies and troubleshoot performance issues in Power BI
-
Support self service reporting while ensuring data is governed and consistent

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making.
