About the Role
We are looking for a versatile, proactive Senior Web Designer & Developer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between high-end UI/UX design, modern front-end engineering, and direct client delivery.
You will take full ownership of client web projects—from initial wireframing and interactive prototyping in Figma to building production-ready applications in React.js / Next.js and high-converting sites in WordPress / Elementor, through to cloud deployments on Vercel, AWS, or Hostinger.
Beyond code and design, you will act as a key technical lead across multiple projects—leading client communications, translating business goals into tech specs, and delivering exceptional work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
1. UI/UX & Design Strategy
- Translate complex business requirements into wireframes, user journeys, interactive prototypes, and polished high-fidelity mockups.
- Craft sleek, mobile-first UI/UX in Figma aligned with modern design systems and visual hierarchy.
- Utilize AI-assisted design tools (such as Claude, Midjourney, or similar platforms) to accelerate design iterations, content structuring, and creative execution.
2. Full-Stack Web Development
- Build custom, lightning-fast web applications and web systems using React.js and Next.js.
- Design, build, and maintain high-performing marketing sites and corporate portals using WordPress and Elementor.
- Write clean, maintainable, modular, and SEO-friendly code using HTML5, CSS3/Tailwind, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Ensure maximum site speed, cross-browser performance, and Core Web Vitals optimization across all screen sizes.
3. Deployment & Cloud Infrastructure
- Deploy, configure, and maintain web platforms across Vercel, Hostinger, and AWS (S3, CloudFront, EC2/Amplify).
- Manage domain settings, DNS configurations, SSL setups, server migrations, and routine site security/maintenance.
4. Client & Project Management
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients: run discovery calls, present design concepts, gather feedback, and report project progress.
- Balance and execute across multiple ongoing client projects simultaneously with clear timelines.
- Collaborate with internal strategists, content creators, and growth leads to ensure every site supports Oneskai's client growth objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven Experience: 2–3+ years of hands-on experience in web design and development (agency or multi-client project experience strongly preferred).
- Core Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS/Sass, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
- CMS Expertise: Advanced knowledge of building custom templates and layouts in WordPress using Elementor (plus custom CSS/PHP tweaks when needed).
- Design Excellence: Strong aesthetic judgment, knowledge of Figma, user journey mapping, wireframing, and responsive prototyping.
- DevOps & Cloud: Practical experience deploying and maintaining sites on Vercel, Hostinger, and AWS.
- Modern Tooling: Familiarity with AI design workflows, prompt engineering, and visual generation using Claude and related design tools.
- Communication & Management: Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to lead client meetings and drive projects independently.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with headless CMS platforms (Sanity, Strapi, Contentful).
- Familiarity with technical SEO, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRM integrations (HubSpot, Zapier).
- Understanding of growth-oriented web design (conversion rate optimization principles).
Pay: ₹9,964.64 - ₹38,090.29 per month
