We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Divisional Sales Manager (DSM) to lead sales operations across an assigned division. The ideal candidate should have strong team leadership, sales planning, market development, and customer relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve divisional targets.
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to deliver business results.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when required.
- Develop new markets, customers, dealers, and business opportunities.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
- Conduct regular market visits and monitor competitor activities.
- Coordinate with ASM, DSM, distributors, dealers, and sales executives.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and performance updates to management.
- Ensure proper execution of company sales policies and processes.
- Monitor collections, outstanding payments, and sales-related activities.
- Conduct regular team meetings, reviews, and performance evaluations.
- Train and develop team members to improve sales performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in sales, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong experience in team handling and target achievement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Good knowledge of market development and sales planning.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
