We are looking for a proactive and result oriented Business Development Executive who can help expand the company’s client base by identifying business opportunities, understanding client requirements, and offering suitable IT solutions.
About the Role
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential clients. The candidate will identify companies that may require IT or software services, understand their business challenges, and present suitable solutions. The ideal candidate should have experience in IT Sales or SaaS Sales and should be comfortable managing the complete sales cycle — from lead generation and client outreach to proposal discussion and deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities and acquire IT/software service projects through networking, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, emails, cold calling, and online research .
- Conduct market research to identify prospective clients, industry trends, and new business opportunities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and client acquisition.
- Research and approach companies that may require website development, software solutions, maintenance services, or other IT services.
- Understand client requirements, business challenges, and pain points to recommend suitable IT solutions and services.
- Present the company’s services effectively and explain the business value and benefits to potential clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, discovery calls, demos, and follow-ups with decision-makers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal discussions, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, requirement summaries, and sales presentations in coordination with internal teams.
- Coordinate with technical and project teams to ensure smooth communication during project discussions.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, meetings, and sales activities using CRM tools or reporting systems.
- Prepare sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development activity reports.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in IT Sales, SaaS Sales, or Software Services Sales
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong lead generation and client acquisition abilities
- Ability to understand business requirements and recommend suitable technology solutions.
- Knowledge of website development, software solutions, and digital services.
- Experience in handling B2B clients and professional business communication.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach, CRM tools, and sales reporting.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive approach toward sales and business development
Eligibility Criteria
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Development, IT Sales, SaaS Sales, or Software Services Sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Prior experience in B2B sales and client relationship management will be preferred
