About
We're looking for a skilled PL/SQL Developer with strong experience in Oracle Forms 12c and Oracle Database 19c to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Oracle Database 19c, SQL, and PL/SQL programming, along with the ability to build and enhance database-driven applications using Oracle Forms 12c.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using Oracle Forms 12c and Oracle Reports
- Write efficient PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors
- Design and implement database objects in Oracle Database 19c, ensuring data integrity
- Develop complex SQL queries, views, and scripts for reporting and data manipulation
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across Oracle Forms 12c and PL/SQL code
- Optimize SQL/PL/SQL performance and tune Oracle Database 19c objects
- Collaborate with business analysts and users to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT
- Handle data migration, validation, and conversion activities
- Maintain technical documentation for applications, databases, and processes
- Ensure application security, backup/recovery, and standards compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Relevant certification in Oracle technologies (a plus)
- 5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development with Oracle Forms 12c and Oracle Database 19c
- Experience in end-to-end development and support of Oracle-based applications
- Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Forms 12c (12.2.x)
- Good knowledge of Oracle Reports (RDF)
- Experience developing database objects (Tables, Views, Indexes, Sequences, Synonyms, Triggers)
- Writing complex queries, joins, subqueries, and set operators
- Experience with stored procedures and functions/packages
- Knowledge of exception handling and transactions in PL/SQL
- Good understanding of Oracle Database architecture (ASM, RMAN, Tablespaces, Data Dictionary, Performance Views)
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN, TFS)
