Job Description – Hatchery Manager
Location : Hoshiarpur , punjab
The Hatchery Manager is responsible for overseeing all hatchery operations to ensure the production of healthy, high-quality day-old chicks while maintaining biosecurity, operational efficiency, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily hatchery operations and staff.
- Ensure proper egg handling, incubation, hatching, and chick processing.
- Maintain high hatchability and chick quality.
- Implement and monitor biosecurity and hygiene protocols.
- Monitor hatchery equipment and coordinate maintenance.
- Maintain production, inventory, and hatchery records.
- Coordinate chick dispatch and ensure timely delivery.
- Train and supervise employees for safe and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Submit daily and monthly production reports to management.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hatchery management experience preferred.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
Pay: ₹6,896.34 - ₹25,000.00 per month
