POSITION OVERVIEW
Sesola Power Projects Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Procurement & Tendering Manager to lead procurement and bid management activities across the company's EPC portfolio spanning Solar and Transmission projects. The role requires strong EPC domain exposure, ownership of costing and financial documentation for tenders, and active participation in bid preparation, submission and management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment and services for EPC projects (Solar and Transmission), including vendor identification, RFQ issuance, techno-commercial evaluation, negotiation and purchase order finalization.
· Develop and maintain a qualified vendor, supplier and contractor base for key EPC categories — transformers, conductors, towers/structures, switchgear, cables, solar modules and inverters, civil contractors and erection sub-contractors — across both solar and transmission scopes.
· Prepare detailed cost estimates, price schedules, BOQ-based costing and financial documentation required for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness of bid pricing.
· Drive tender participation activities — tracking tender notifications and EOIs on e-procurement platforms, assessing eligibility and qualification criteria, and coordinating preparation of techno-commercial and financial bid documents.
· Manage active bid processes including EMD/bid security arrangement, submission of bank guarantees/insurance surety bonds, compliance with qualifying requirements, and complete and timely tender submission.
· Coordinate with engineering, project execution, finance and legal teams to compile technical specifications, qualifying data and commercial terms for bid submissions.
· Conduct techno-commercial evaluation of vendor and sub-contractor quotations, ensuring cost optimization while meeting technical specifications and project schedules.
· Negotiate commercial terms, delivery schedules and contract conditions with vendors, suppliers and contractors for awarded EPC projects.
· Track and manage post-award procurement activities including purchase order issuance, delivery follow-up and vendor performance monitoring in coordination with the project execution team.
· Maintain procurement and tendering records, cost databases and market intelligence on pricing trends for solar and transmission EPC categories.
· Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable statutory and contractual requirements (including taxes, duties and GST where relevant) in costing and vendor contracts.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
· 6–12 years of experience in procurement and/or tendering roles within the EPC sector, with mandatory hands-on experience in Solar and/or Transmission EPC projects.
· Demonstrated experience in EPC project procurement — sourcing of major equipment (transformers, conductors, towers, switchgear, solar modules/inverters, cables) and civil/erection sub-contracting.
· Strong experience in tender costing, BOQ-based pricing and preparation of financial bid documentation.
· Proven track record of active participation in tender processes, including bid preparation, submission and follow-up on e-procurement platforms.
· Strong negotiation skills with a track record of vendor contract finalization and cost optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or equivalent. A Master's degree/MBA in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related field is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Based full-time at the Hyderabad office, with occasional travel for vendor and project coordination as required.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per month
