We are looking for a Site Engineer to take full responsibility for managing building construction projects from start to finish. The role involves handling day-to-day site activities, coordinating with teams, ensuring quality delivery, and completing the project within time and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Supervision
- Manage end-to-end construction activities from excavation to handover
- Supervise RCC, structural works, finishing works, and overall site execution
- Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications
Procurement & Cost Control
- Plan and manage material procurement as per site requirements
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery
- Track material usage and control wastage
- Maintain cost tracking for materials, labour, and overall project budget
Negotiation & Vendor Management
- Negotiate rates with suppliers and subcontractors
- Finalise work packages and manage subcontractor performance
- Ensure cost-effective procurement and execution
Quality Control
- Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at all stages
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure compliance with standards
- Minimise rework and maintain quality records
Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Provide daily updates via WhatsApp and maintain clear communication
- Share progress, issues, and site photos regularly
- Resolve site issues and escalate when required
Planning & Scheduling
- Track project progress against timeline
- Ensure milestones are achieved as planned
- Identify delays and take corrective actions
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site diary with daily activities, manpower, and progress
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Keep records for quality, materials, and work completion
Safety Compliance
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed on-site
- Maintain a safe working environment for all workers
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of building construction (RCC to finishing)
- Good negotiation and procurement skills
- Strong communication and coordination ability
- Experience in quality control and site inspections
- Ability to manage labour, subcontractors, and materials
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, and reporting
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- 0–1 years experience in building or residential construction
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
