Job Description for Static Engineer
- Requirement : 2 nos. Static equipment engineers. Heat Exchangers (Mechanical design) experience is preferred.
- Qualification: 4 Year Engineering Degree in Mechanical
- Previous work experience: 7 to 15 years
- Area of Work specialization:
- To perform engineering design, specification, and technical evaluation of static equipment such as Heat Exchangers, pressure vessels, columns, Reactor.
- Exposure to various metallurgies like CS, low alloy steel, high alloy steel/stainless steel, non-ferrous metallurgy etc.
- Ability to understand & review project design basis, project specifications, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), piping material specifications (PMS), and other relevant documents.
- Software Skills: Compress, PV Elite.
- Workflow: Knowledge of EPC/engineering company work processes during FEED, detail engineering, requisition handling from RFQ through TQ/TBA to Purchase Requisition and VDR in the field of Refinery, Oil and gas, petrochemicals, Fertilizer etc.
- Experience with Standard Project execution, including:
ü Mechanical equipment Procurement
- Fabrication and field support
ü Inter-discipline coordination and squad checks
ü Conflict resolution
ü Independent thinking and problem solving
- ASME Sec VIII Div1, ASME Sec. II, API 650
- TEMA, API 660 (Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger), API 661 (Air Cooled Heat Exchanger), API 662 (Plate Heat Exchanger)
- Effective communication and coordination abilities
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Attention to detail and quality Good communication skills to deal with international clients is must.
- Require the ability to build relationships of trust, respect, and productive interaction in a team or client environment
- Multiple simultaneous projects experience
