Job Summary
Vijay Group of Institutions is seeking a passionate, qualified, and student-focused Mathematics Teacher to teach CBSE and Matriculation curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students as per CBSE and/or State Board (Matriculation) curriculum.
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions using modern teaching methodologies.
- Assess, evaluate, and monitor student progress regularly.
- Conduct remedial and enrichment classes based on student performance.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Integrate technology, smart boards, and digital learning resources into teaching.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews, and school events.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and academic outcomes.
Qualification Requirements
For PGT Mathematics (Grades XI–XII)
- M.Sc. Mathematics / M.A. Mathematics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE/Matriculation schools preferred.
For TGT Mathematics (Grades VI–X)
- B.Sc. Mathematics / M.Sc. Mathematics.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Relevant teaching experience preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Mathematics concepts and problem-solving techniques.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Smart Boards, and online teaching tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in CBSE Board teaching and board exam preparation.
- Ability to create innovative learning activities and assessments.
