We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) On Contract Basis to manage, maintain, and support Oracle database systems. The candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup management, security, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database servers.
- Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries.
- Perform database backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
- Manage database security, users, roles, and permissions.
- Ensure database availability, reliability, and data integrity.
- Handle database migration, upgrades, and patch management.
- Monitor storage capacity and database health.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide technical support.
- Create and maintain database documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with application developers and IT teams for database support.
- Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Maintain database performance standards and system uptime.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration.
- Experience in Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c, or latest versions.
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, RMAN, Data Guard, and Oracle RAC.
- Understanding of backup and recovery concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of database security and performance tuning.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Oracle Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience Required:
- 2–5 years of experience as Oracle DBA.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ERP database support.
- Knowledge of cloud databases and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with automation and scripting.
