Job Summary
Responsible for end-to-end maintenance of Screen-Printing tools, including drying and firing furnaces, from Greenfield setup to ramp-up and stable production. Ensures high uptime, print quality, and throughput, covering mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, robotics, sensor, motor, pump, drive, and automation systems. Owns preventive maintenance, spare parts management, and reliability improvement for the Print Line cluster.
Key Responsibilities
- Greenfield / Ramp-up:
- Lead installation, commissioning, and tool acceptance.
- Develop PM schedules, predictive maintenance plans, spares, and SOPs.
- Set up mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensors, motors, pumps, drives, robotics, and automation systems for new tools.
- Train team on robotics, PLC programming, print head systems, and safety compliance.
- Running Plant (Steady-State Operations):
- Ensure high uptime, print quality, and throughput.
- Troubleshoot motors, pumps, drives, sensors, conveyors, alignment systems, robots, PLCs, firing furnaces, and curing ovens.
- Implement RCA, FMEA, and IoT/digital predictive maintenance.
- Collaborate with Production & QA for process optimization and new trials.
- Enforce safety protocols for high-temp furnaces, UV curing, and chemical pastes.
- Lead and mentor 10–12 engineers/technicians.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics.
- 10–15 years’ experience in Print Line / Metallization maintenance in solar/semiconductor.
- Hands-on motors, pumps, drives, sensors, robotics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
