The Community Outreach & Mobilization Officer will be responsible for identifying, counseling, and mobilizing eligible youth and community members for various skill development training programs. The role involves extensive field outreach, stakeholder engagement, awareness generation, and ensuring achievement of enrollment targets while maintaining strong relationships with local communities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Community Outreach & Mobilization
- Conduct door-to-door surveys and community visits to identify potential candidates.
- Organize awareness campaigns, roadshows, community meetings, and counseling sessions.
- Promote skill development programs among youth, parents, and community leaders.
- Build rapport with local influencers, Panchayat members, SHGs, schools, colleges, NGOs, and community-based organizations.
2. Candidate Identification & Counseling
- Identify eligible candidates as per project guidelines.
- Counsel candidates and their families regarding training opportunities, career prospects, placement opportunities, and program benefits.
- Assist candidates in selecting suitable training courses based on their interests and aptitude.
- Address concerns and objections raised by candidates and parents.
3. Enrollment & Documentation
- Support candidates in completing application and registration formalities.
- Collect and verify required documents such as Aadhaar, educational certificates, bank details, domicile certificates, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of mobilized and enrolled candidates.
- Ensure compliance with project and government guidelines.
4. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with local government departments, educational institutions, community organizations, and employers.
- Develop partnerships to enhance outreach and candidate mobilization.
- Participate in community events and networking activities.
5. Batch Formation & Retention Support
- Assist in forming training batches as per project timelines.
- Follow up with enrolled candidates to ensure regular attendance.
- Support retention efforts and minimize dropout rates.
- Coordinate with trainers and center staff regarding trainee concerns.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
