About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to manage and optimize our database systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The role involves implementing best practices for database management, troubleshooting issues, and supporting data migration and backup processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our data infrastructure, supporting critical government projects and services.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, configure, and maintain MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server databases.
· Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of database systems.
· Implement backup and restore procedures to ensure data safety.
· Manage data migration activities and optimize query processing.
· Monitor database performance and implement improvements.
· Ensure database security and compliance with industry standards.
· Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design.
· Document database configurations and procedures.
Required Qualifications And Skills
· B.E. or B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
· MCA from recognized institutes.
· Hands-on experience with MySQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
· Knowledge of database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Familiarity with data migration and query optimization.
· Certifications such as MSCE, MCP, or SQL Server certifications are a plus.
