Job Responsibilities
Test Planning and Execution
:
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies based on project requirements and specifications. Execute test cases, both manually and through automation, to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
Defect Management
:
Identify, document, and track software defects using the designated bug tracking system. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution and validation of reported defects.
Regression Testing
:
Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and validate new features without adverse impacts on existing functionality.
Collaboration and Communication
:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a common understanding of quality goals and project objectives.
Provide clear and concise status reports on testing progress, issues, and overall quality to stakeholders.
Skills
Knowledge & project exposure on “POSTMAN API, Automation Testing, Cucumber framework, rest assured, Manual testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
1.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plus.
