Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer with experience in Adobe InDesign Server and publishing workflows to join our e-Publishing technology team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated publishing solutions that generate print-ready and digital content using Adobe InDesign Server and Microsoft .NET technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Integrate and automate document production workflows using Adobe InDesign Server.
- Develop services and APIs for automated page composition, template processing, and content publishing.
- Create and maintain scripts for InDesign Server using JavaScript (ExtendScript) and related technologies.
- Build solutions for XML/HTML-to-InDesign conversion and automated PDF generation.
- Collaborate with editorial, production, and publishing teams to understand workflow requirements.
- Optimize publishing systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
- Ensure compliance with software development best practices and quality standards.
Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Strong experience in C# and .NET Framework/.NET Core.
- Experience with ASP.NET Web API, MVC, or RESTful services.
- Hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign Server.
- Knowledge of InDesign scripting (JavaScript/ExtendScript).
- Experience working with XML, XSLT, HTML, CSS, and JSON.
- Understanding of automated publishing and document composition workflows.
- Experience with SQL Server and database design.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.
Publishing Domain Skills
- Understanding of e-Publishing, digital publishing, and print production workflows.
- Knowledge of PDF generation, prepress, and document formatting.
- Experience with template-driven publishing systems.
- Familiarity with EPUB, XML-first publishing, or content management systems is an advantage.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
