Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Billing Engineer (Civil) to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and verifying client and contractor bills, checking quantities as per approved drawings and BOQs, maintaining billing records, and coordinating with site engineers to ensure accurate measurements and timely billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify RA Bills and Final Bills.
- Cross-check quantities as per approved drawings, BOQ, and site measurements.
- Verify work executed at site before processing bills.
- Ensure billing accuracy by comparing actual work completed with BOQ quantities.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from civil drawings.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, and contractors for billing-related documentation.
- Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Identify quantity variations and prepare variation statements.
- Assist in reconciliation of material consumption and executed quantities.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, specifications, and project requirements.
- Support the project team in preparing progress reports related to billing.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of BOQ, quantity estimation, and billing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret civil construction drawings.
- Knowledge of RA Bills, Final Bills, and Measurement Sheets.
- Familiarity with quantity take-off and quantity reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil billing or quantity surveying.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospital, or industrial construction projects will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel across multiple project sites.
Preferred Knowledge
- Billing as per BOQ and contract conditions.
- Quantity verification from drawings.
- Preparation of measurement sheets.
- Variation and extra item billing.
- Coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Pay: ₹9,338.21 - ₹25,000.00 per month
