Doctor Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Packaging & Label Control Supervisor to ensure accuracy, traceability, and quality throughout our seed packaging and printing operations.
This role is critical in preventing packaging, labeling, and printing errors while ensuring that every seed packet reaching our customers meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify correct seed lots, varieties, and packaging materials before packaging begins.
- Ensure the correct packaging size, labels, tags, and printed materials are used for each product.
- Review and approve printing details.
- Conduct regular checks during packaging to prevent variety mix-ups, labeling errors, and incorrect packet weights.
- Monitor packaging operations to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Perform post-packaging verification, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of packaging material consumption and packaging outputs.
- Coordinate with Production, Inventory, QC, and Sales teams to ensure smooth packaging operations.
- Investigate packaging and printing discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure packaging areas remain organized and all records are maintained accurately and on time.
Desired Qualifications
- B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Biotechnology / B.Tech Agriculture / Diploma in Seed Technology or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in packaging, quality control, printing, inventory, or seed operations preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and record management
- Ability to identify and prevent operational errors before products reach customers
