Key Responsibilities
- Integrated Teaching: Deliver engaging, comprehensive lectures for Class XI and XII Geography and Economics (Board Level) while simultaneously preparing students for the CUET Domain Subjects and General Test requirements needed for top-tier university admissions.
- Curriculum Delivery: Masterfully cover the CBSE curriculum, including Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Fundamentals of Human Geography, and India: People and Economy. Teach students to excel at both detailed, analytical subjective board answers and rapid, logical objective entrance questions.
- Cross-Disciplinary Alignment: Guide and mentor humanities and commerce-track students who are targeting high-potential career paths like Law (CLAT) or Civil Services (UPSC Foundation). Help them connect economic indicators and geographical phenomena to current affairs, data interpretation, and competitive analytical frameworks.
- Assessment & Tracking: Design, conduct, and analyze Bi-Weekly topic tests (Subjective for Boards & MCQ-based for CUET) to benchmark performance and ensure national-level competitiveness.
- Doubt Resolution: Lead dedicated, individual doubt-clearing sessions to ensure students maintain absolute conceptual clarity, fostering a deep understanding of market dynamics, trade policies, and spatial/environmental processes.
- Mentorship: Maintain a disciplined, encouraging classroom environment and mentor students to develop the analytical, data-driven, and critical-thinking mindsets required for modern professional careers.
Requirements
- Education: Master’s Degree in Geography, Economics, or a related field (MA/M.Sc/M.Phil/PhD).
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputed coaching institute or school, handling both Geography and Economics at the Senior Secondary level.
- Skills:
- Deep conceptual clarity of economic theories, statistical analysis, cartographic skills, and environmental dynamics.
- Strong command over graphical and numerical analysis for Economics and map-based/spatial reasoning for Geography.
- Ability to balance the detailed formatting required for Board exams with the speed, logic, and analytical strategies needed for MCQs in competitive tests.
- Capability to integrate real-world data and case studies into lessons to make abstract theories tangible for students.
