JD - Lighting designer
Job Summary:
A Lighting Designer is responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting systems for architectural spaces. The role involves understanding the technical, artistic, and human factors of light, and designing systems that meet both visual and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop lighting design concepts based on client briefs, architectural layouts, or production requirements.
Create lighting plans, layouts, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD)
Select appropriate lighting controls, and systems to meet design,
Collaborate with architects or engineers, and other project stakeholders.
Supervise or assist with the installation, programming, and testing of lighting systems.
Stay up-to-date with emerging lighting technologies, sustainability practices, and building codes.
Attend site visits to assess lighting performance and ensure design intent is realized.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD
Preferred Experience:
3+ year of relevant experience.
AutoCAD Certified is plus
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month
