A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining CNC machines used to manufacture precision parts and components. The operator ensures products meet quality standards, follows production schedules, and maintains a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and routers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Load raw materials and secure workpieces in machines.
- Monitor machine operations and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Measure finished products using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
- Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major problems to supervisors.
- Maintain production records and documentation.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,846.40 per month
