Key Responsibilities
- Assist in purchasing raw materials, consumables, and production-related items
- Handle purchase orders (POs), quotations, and vendor follow-ups
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and documentation
- Compare vendor quotations and negotiate basic pricing
- Track inventory levels and coordinate with store/production teams
- Ensure availability of cable industry materials such as:
- Copper
- Aluminium
- PVC compounds
- XLPE
- Armouring materials
- Insulation materials
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships
- Follow up on pending orders and delivery schedules
- Support management in procurement planning and reporting
Required Skills
- Knowledge of cable/wire manufacturing materials
- Basic understanding of procurement process
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong follow-up and coordination ability
- Knowledge of Excel and ERP software
- Attention to detail and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, Electrical, or related field
- Experience in cable, electrical, or manufacturing industry preferred
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
