Role Overview
We are looking for a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist cum Accountant to manage front desk operations while handling day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in Tally, and have a strong understanding of accounting principles and administrative coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and handle customer inquiries efficiently.
- Manage the front desk and ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain office calendars.
- Handle courier services, office correspondence, and maintain administrative records.
- Maintain daily accounting entries using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
- Prepare purchase, sales, payment, and receipt vouchers.
- Generate invoices, maintain billing records, and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash and petty cash records.
- Maintain vendor and customer accounts and support GST documentation.
- Assist in monthly account closing, MIS reporting, and coordinate with auditors when required.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient administrative and financial processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in reception, administration, and accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and GST basics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance with a customer-focused and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with invoice processing and bank reconciliation.
- Knowledge of MS Excel functions and reporting.
- Prior experience in handling both front office and accounting responsibilities.
