Position: Freelance/Contract Language Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking skilled language experts with proficiency in Magahi, Rajasthani, Bhojpuri, Maithili, and Urdu (Indian). The role involves working on projects that require translation, transcription, localization, and linguistic validation. Candidates should have a strong command of their native language and excellent English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Translate and localize content accurately while maintaining cultural relevance.
- Review and validate linguistic data for quality assurance.
- Provide transcription services for audio/video content.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in one or more of the listed languages.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Prior experience in translation, transcription, or linguistic projects preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
