Position Overview
Shield Capital and Investments is seeking a highly motivated and client-focused Investment Advisor & Wealth Relationship Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales and relationship management skills, along with a sound understanding of financial markets and investment products.
The role involves advising clients on suitable investment opportunities, acquiring new clients, building long-term relationships, and contributing to the firm's business growth through effective wealth management solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify, acquire, and onboard new clients through referrals, networking, and lead generation activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail, affluent, and HNI clients.
- Understand clients' financial goals, investment objectives, and risk profiles.
- Conduct regular client reviews and provide ongoing financial guidance.
Investment Advisory & Product Sales
- Advise and recommend suitable financial products based on client requirements.
- Promote and sell:
- Equity Investments
- Mutual Funds
- SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans)
- Bonds & Fixed Income Products
- IPOs & NFOs
- PMS & Wealth Management Solutions
- Insurance and Protection Products (where applicable)
- Educate clients on market opportunities and investment strategies.
Demat & Trading Account Acquisition
- Drive Demat and Trading Account openings.
- Ensure seamless onboarding and KYC compliance.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth account activation and servicing.
Market & Investment Knowledge
- Stay updated with stock market trends, economic developments, and investment opportunities.
- Utilize research reports and market insights to guide clients effectively.
- Assist clients in portfolio construction and diversification strategies.
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
- Generate revenue through investment product distribution and brokerage business.
- Increase Assets Under Management (AUM) and client engagement.
- Contribute actively to the growth and expansion of the firm's client base.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, pitching, and client-conversion capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Sound knowledge of Equity Markets, Mutual Funds, SIPs, Bonds, and Wealth Management Products.
- Ability to understand client needs and provide suitable financial solutions.
- Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service mindset.

- Professional conduct and ethical business practices.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, marketing or related fields.
- 1–5+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, Financial Product Sales, Stock Broking, Banking, or Financial Services.
- Knowledge of financial markets and investment products is mandatory.
- NISM/AMFI certifications will be considered an added advantage.
