Job Summary
The Commis Pan Asian Chef assists in the preparation and cooking of a variety of Asian dishes, including Japanese, Thai, Chinese, Korean, and other Pan-Asian cuisines. The role involves supporting senior chefs, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring kitchen hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking Pan-Asian dishes such as sushi, noodles, fried rice, curries, soups, and stir-fries.
- Prepare ingredients, including cutting vegetables, marinating meats, and portioning food.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and workstations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Store food items properly and monitor stock levels.
- Assist in receiving and checking kitchen supplies.
- Support senior chefs during busy service hours.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain cost control.
- Adhere to company policies and kitchen procedures.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisines and cooking techniques.
- 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Salary Range
₹18,000 – ₹30,000 per month
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
