Key Qualifications
Experience Typically 6 years of experience in software performance testing and engineering
Tooling Expertise Strong handson experience with the OpenTextMicro Focus LoadRunner ecosystem
APM Integration Practical experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace AppDynamics Datadog or Grafana
Cloud Knowledge Familiarity with deploying load generators on cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP
ProgrammingScripting Proficiency in C C or Java for advanced script customization and debugging
Core Responsibilities
Script Development Create and refine performance scripts in VuGen Virtual User Generator across protocols such as Web HTTPHTTPS TruClient and APIs
Cloud Scenario Execution Plan and run distributed load stress and endurance tests using Micro Focus LoadRunner Cloud or LoadRunner Enterprise LRE
Bottleneck Identification Analyze clientside transaction times alongside serverside metrics to identify memory leaks CPU saturation and latency issues
CICD Integration Embed automated performance scripts into Jenkins or Azure DevOps pipelines to detect and prevent regressions early
Reporting Strategy Define NFRs establish SLAsSLOs and prepare executive summaries with clear actionable optimization recommendations
Skills
Mandatory Skills : Cloud migration and Platform modernization Testing, LoadRunner-Performance Testing with Guidewire Testing platform.
