Job Description : Manager Contracts
Position Overview:
The Manager – Contracts will support the Head – Contracts in the management, execution, and monitoring of all contractual matters related to EPC, O&M, tolling, consultancy, and third-party engagements . The role involves active involvement in contract drafting, vetting, compliance tracking, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and assisting in dispute resolution processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in the infrastructure or highway sector with a sound understanding of concession frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Administration & Support
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing various contract types including MMR, O&M, consultancy, and tolling agreements and contractual correspondence.
Ensure alignment with overarching Concession Agreements and relevant government norms (NHAI/MoRTH).
Support in maintaining a repository of standard contract templates and updates.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Technical, ESG) for alignment of contract terms with operational needs.
Compliance & Risk Tracking
Monitor compliance with contract terms, conditions, SLAs, and KPIs.
Identify risks and flag potential contract deviations or breaches for corrective action.
Ensure contracts adhere to statutory and regulatory guidelines including SEBI InvIT, MCA, etc.
Dispute Support & Legal Coordination
Maintain documentation and assist in preparation of claims, responses, and dispute-related correspondence.
Support coordination with legal counsel in ongoing disputes or arbitration processes.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track key contractual deliverables and performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports and summaries for review by the Head – Contracts.
Maintain records of all contractual correspondences and decisions.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong grasp of Indian contract law and infrastructure sector regulatory landscape.
Good knowledge of concession agreements and public-private partnership models.
Proficiency in contract drafting, analysis, and compliance review.
Ability to coordinate across teams and manage documentation meticulously.
High integrity, detail orientation, and a proactive mindset.
Qualifications:
Qualified from NICMAR Pune/ Hyderabad /Delhi-NCR or an institute of similar reputation.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputed Institute.
5–8 years of experience in contract management within infrastructure/highway/PPP sector.
Pay: ₹1,700,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
