Company Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lab Technician for our construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for conducting material testing, maintaining laboratory records, and ensuring quality standards for construction materials and site activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct laboratory and field tests on construction materials such as concrete, cement, sand, aggregate, steel, and soil.
· Prepare test samples and maintain testing records and reports.
· Ensure all testing procedures are carried out as per IS codes and quality standards.
· Coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC team for material approvals and testing schedules.
· Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
· Monitor concrete cube testing, slump tests, sieve analysis, compaction tests, and other quality checks.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
· Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the laboratory.
· Assist in troubleshooting material quality issues at site.
Required Skills
· Knowledge of construction material testing procedures.
· Understanding of IS codes and quality standards.
· Ability to prepare and maintain technical reports.
· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
· Attention to detail and quality-oriented approach.
Eligibility Criteria
· Diploma / B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or related field.
· 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction laboratory testing.
· Experience in high-rise building or infrastructure projects will be preferred.
· Candidate should be willing to work at project site locations.
Salary
Salary will be offered based on experience and interview performance.
Joining
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
