We are looking for a high-energy, motivated Business Development & Sales Intern to join our team in Kolkata. This hands-on internship offers a deep dive into FMCG distribution, retail sales, and the rapidly growing health and wellness market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Mapping: Assist in identifying and mapping potential new retail stores, premium grocery outlets, and health-food cafes across Kolkata.
- Lead Generation & Pitching: Conduct field visits to introduce our premium organic product range to store managers, independent distributors, and institutional buyers.
- On-Ground Marketing: Help set up product displays, manage visual merchandising, and coordinate in-store tasting or promotional events to drive consumer awareness.
- Client Coordination: Maintain regular communication with onboarded retail partners to track stock levels, collect feedback, and assist with processing re-orders.
- Competitor Research: Track local market trends, monitor competitor pricing and shelf-space, and share actionable insights with the core leadership team.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration (BBA/MBA), Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- Passion for Wellness: A strong interest in organic foods, sustainable agriculture, or clean-label consumer products is a huge plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the confidence to pitch products face-to-face.
- Go-Getter Attitude: Highly proactive, disciplined, and eager to learn on-ground sales strategies.
- Mobility: Ready and willing to travel locally across Kolkata's commercial hubs and market clusters.
