- Set monthly sales targets for individual sales staff and ensure target achievement
- Drive month-on-month and year-on-year sales growth across all store categories
- Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions to achieve business goals
- Lead, motivate, and train the sales team to improve productivity and customer service
- Ensure speedy disposal of slow-moving stock and prevent accumulation of dead stock
- Plan and execute seasonal sales strategies, promotions, and special campaigns
- Coordinate with the marketing team for in-store branding, promotional materials, and customer engagement activities
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving products
- Manage stock transfers and stock interchange between Jones stores to optimize inventory utilization
- Analyze category-wise sales performance and recommend stock planning and merchandising actions
- Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and store presentation standards
- Monitor customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities
- Work closely with the purchase team to ensure the right product mix and adequate stock availability
- Generate and review sales reports, stock reports, and performance reports for management
- Ensure excellent customer experience and maintain high service standards across stores
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, discipline, and performance reviews
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in the retail clothing industry
- Prior experience in retail chains such as Pothy's, Chennai Silks, Reliance Trends, Kalyan Silks, or similar organizations is mandatory
- Candidate should have previously handled a store with annual sales of ₹25 Cr+ / team size of 75+ staff
- Strong experience in sales target management and team handling
- Good understanding of apparel retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising
- Ability to analyze sales data and take business-driven decisions
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel between stores as required
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
