Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical BIM Design Engineer to join our BIM team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and managing mechanical BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems across various projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, coordination abilities, and proficiency in BIM software and MEP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate Mechanical BIM models using Revit and other BIM tools.
- Prepare HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting layouts based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and other MEP disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and assist in resolving coordination issues.
- Generate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, BOQ, and detailed documentation.
- Ensure models comply with BIM standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and technical discussions.
- Update and manage project revisions and model changes.
- Support project teams with technical solutions and design optimization.
- Maintain quality and timely delivery of BIM deliverables.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting design
- Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM workflows
- Understanding of BIM standards and coordination process
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and coordination abilities
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Certification in BIM/Revit MEP is an added advantage
Experience
- 1–10 Years of experience in Mechanical BIM / MEP Design
- Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
Preferred Requirements
- Experience in LOD 300/400 modeling
- Knowledge of international standards and codes
- Experience working in multidisciplinary BIM environments
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
