Role Overview
The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution networks, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory. The role requires strong expertise in FMCG or food product sales, distributor management, retail development, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly result-oriented, possess excellent relationship management skills, and have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and market expansion objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Market Development
- Achieve assigned sales targets and drive revenue growth across the territory.
- Identify new business opportunities, untapped markets, and potential channel partners.
- Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans to maximize market penetration.
- Ensure effective execution of sales and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
- Monitor market trends and recommend strategies to improve business performance.
Distribution & Channel Management
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and channel partners.
- Strengthen distribution networks to improve product availability and reach.
- Monitor distributor performance, inventory management, and stock availability.
- Ensure timely order processing, collections, and adherence to company policies.
- Resolve operational challenges and maintain healthy distributor relationships.
Retail & Trade Development
- Expand retail coverage and increase product visibility across key outlets.
- Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and trade partners.
- Ensure execution of merchandising standards and in-store promotional activities.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities and market dynamics.
- Gather customer and trade feedback to support business decision-making.
Team Management
- Lead, guide, and monitor Sales Officers, Sales Executives, and field teams.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Train and mentor team members on sales processes, product knowledge, and market execution.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving business objectives.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates.
- Analyze sales trends, market opportunities, and business performance metrics.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to management.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company reporting standards.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- MBA preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Required
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in FMCG, food products, or consumer goods sales.
- Proven experience in territory management, distributor handling, and channel development.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving market expansion.
- Experience in leading and managing field sales teams.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
