Job Post – Purchase Manager
Location – Sachin
Salary – 40,000 to 45,000
Key Responsibilities
Purchasing (Domestic and Overseas):
- Conduct product research and source new suppliers and vendors.
- Source materials, goods, products, and services while negotiating the best contracts and cost-effective deals.
- Perform inventory inspections and reorder supplies/stock as necessary.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Inspect stock and report any faulty items or discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of all orders, payments, and received stock.
- Coordinate with the Sales and PPC teams and follow up on delayed or rescheduled orders.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all stock is properly packaged and delivered to the correct location on time.
Dispatch (Local & Overseas):
- Develop and implement logistic strategies to optimize the supply chain and meet company objectives.
- Coordinate and monitor transportation of goods, including inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing costs.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with logistics providers to achieve cost savings and meet service level agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities using appropriate software.
Team Management:
- Provide guidance and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Verify and check all reports related to procurement and logistics activities.
- Review daily reports for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Proficient in inventory management software and logistics tools.
- Knowledge of domestic and international transportation regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
