Job Summary
This role drives operational excellence and continuous improvement in enterprise-scale storage environments, focusing on EMC Isilon, NetApp File Storage, and IBM Spectrum Scale. The position empowers teams to deliver superior support, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure client satisfaction through expert leadership and process innovation.
Troubleshooting of SAN/NAS enterprise storage. * Experience in administrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Hitachi AMS, HP EVA, XP, P9500 & 3PAR and Netapp. * Experience in SAN/NAS Monitoring/Reporting. Performance Analyzer & Event Monitor, performance analysis and improvement at storage level, system health check and storage capacity planning. * Hands on experience with various Brocade enterprise directors (Backbone DCX) and departmental switches and Cisco enterprise directors like Cisco MDS 9513/9509 and Fabric/Device Manager, Brocade Web Tools. * Knowledgeable in troubleshooting day to day SAN/NAS/Storage and host related issues. * Experience of handling outages and managing low RTO and RPO * Transitioning of project from client including KT and trans-KT. * Configuration and management of Fabric environment. Tasks include creation/deletion of alias, zones, configuration and enabling/disabling it as per maintenance need .Heath management and housekeeping of fabric environment including alert investigation and performance tuning. * Configuration and management of File level storage to UNIX and windows servers and Provision/ configuration/extension/reclaim/share access and permissions of NFS exports and CIFS shares and scheduling the data protection snap shots and replication on NAS enabled arrays like VNX, Isilon, Celera and Nexsan. * SAN/NAS Administration of a complex multi petabyte storage environment consists. * Monitoring, housekeeping and troubleshooting. * Implemented Service improvement plans like, storage capacity reporting, health checks, fabric port utilization data * SAN/NAS Administration of a complex multi petabyte storage environment and IBM DDN storage arrays including both block level and file level storage. * New SAN environment build for UNIX/Windows/ VMWare ESX /UCS servers (clusters) on fabric switch and array level. Includes accessing the requirement, Creation of auto provisioning groups & masking/mapping and proving SAN boot LUN and enabling needed bit settings to initiators. * Provisioning (thin/thick)/Reclaim storage to UNIX/Windows/ VMWare ESX /UCS servers from VMAX/VNX arrays using SYMCLI/SMC/Unisphere.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis using EMC Isilon, NetApp File Storage, and IBM Spectrum Scale to resolve critical storage incidents and minimize downtime.
2. Oversee configuration, optimization, and capacity planning for enterprise storage systems utilizing EMC management tools, NetApp ONTAP, and IBM Spectrum Scale interfaces.
3. Implement and refine operational processes and automation scripts to improve storage performance, data protection, and reporting across multi-vendor storage platforms.
4. Ensure compliance with client SLAs by monitoring storage health, conducting proactive risk assessments, and coordinating escalation management within the team.
5. Mentor and guide support engineers in advanced storage operations, fostering technical growth and promoting adoption of best practices in EMC and NetApp environments.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging storage technologies and recommending enhancements to existing workflows and service delivery models.
7. Collaborate with internal teams to align storage infrastructure management with organizational objectives and client requirements.

Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Expertise In Netapp File Storage Systems And Ontap Management.
2. InDepth Knowledge Of Ibm Spectrum Scale Configuration And Integration.
3. Excellent Skills In Using Storage Management Tools Such As Emc Unisphere, Netapp System Manager, And Ibm Spectrum Scale Gui/Cli.
4. Strong Understanding Of Storage Network Protocols (Nfs, Smb, Cifs) And Data Protection Strategies.
