Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations for our food & beverage business. The role involves sourcing high-quality ingredients, managing vendor relationships, controlling costs, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support smooth kitchen and outlet operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of food ingredients, beverages, packaging, and kitchen supplies
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships and alternate supplier networks
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen/store teams to avoid stock shortages or overstocking
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality checks, and company policies
- Track market trends, pricing fluctuations, and seasonal availability of products
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain records, and ensure proper documentation
- Implement cost-control measures and optimize procurement budgets
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification and timely payments
- Handle vendor audits and performance evaluations
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of F&B products, supply chain, and procurement processes
- Cost analysis and budgeting skills
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management systems
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or F&B brands
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in fine-dine restaurants, QSRs, or cloud kitchens
- Familiarity with local vendor markets and sourcing networks
- Exposure to inventory software / ERP systems
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
