We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage the procurement of electronic components, PCBs, mechanical parts, consumables, and production materials. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, negotiate with suppliers, maintain inventory levels, and support uninterrupted production while achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Source electronic components, PCB raw materials, mechanical parts, and production consumables from approved suppliers.
- Float RFQs, compare quotations, negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution until material receipt.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Engineering teams to meet material requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply delays.
- Verify supplier invoices, delivery challans, and supporting procurement documents.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement to prevent material shortages.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for transportation and timely delivery of materials.
- Support import procurement activities, including coordination with freight forwarders and customs agents, where applicable.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and purchase reports.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, pricing, and service.
- Identify alternate suppliers for cost optimization and risk mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
- Experience in sourcing from electronic component distributors such as Mouser, DigiKey, Arrow Electronics, Avnet, Element14, or RS Components.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Additional certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Experience in PCB Manufacturing, Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Electronics, or Semiconductor industries is preferred.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of electronic components, PCBs, connectors, cables, passive and active components.
- Understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM), AVL (Approved Vendor List), and material specifications.
- Experience in vendor sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation and cost analysis skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Good understanding of Incoterms, GST, and procurement documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
